The only problem with this method to convert your files like Word or PDF to ePUB is that it is not an auto manager. You will have to manually submit the resulting book to your eBook reader. In addition, errors occur when transforming the format that makes the document unreadable.
That is why we recommend that you resort to specialised programs for this purpose, for safety and above all for convenience variety of options.
2: Caliber, the best program to convert books to ePUB
The most complete alternative for managing eBooks is Caliber. This Open Source program is completely free and is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. It is light and offers many options, although the most used is to convert text documents to other formats such as ePUB or mobi and then send them to the eReader.
It is very common to use Caliber to change formatting and organise documents such as class notes. Thus, a text in PDF happens to be in mobi and you can read it perfectly in any of the Kindle although this reader also supports other formats.
