Since these three are used for different purposes. Technically CPU, GPU and APU are a specific type of data processing unit, in other words, they are processors with different types of implementations. The CPU “Central processing unit”

They are very necessary if you want to build a PC for video games.
The APU (Accelerated Processing Unit)
Finally, we have the APU, technically it is a processor “CPU” that also has a “GPU” inside this union. It offers a considerable advantage in the process speed because it has a memory controller and a high-speed processing bus, but this union is designed for users of not very demanding who want to play some game with discreet requirements or do activities not very demanding, so if you want something more powerful you should follow the traditional combination of CPU and GPU.
