During CES 2016, HTC introduced some innovations in its system of virtual reality VR lives, a new step in the development of a virtual reality system more massive. Pre Vive offers immersive experiences that change the way people communicate, consume entertainment, and to learn and train.

Vive the headset has been re designed to offer comfort, increasing the sense of immersion in virtual worlds. It is a more compact headset and has a new wing design that achieves greater stability and balance. It has also improved with the virtual system displays brighter and more refined to achieve greater clarity and sense of presence images. The headset includes accessories and supports interchangeable rubber nose so that it easily fits each user, according to different types of face and supports a variety of shapes of glasses.
The new Live Pre includes a camera that allows you to mix elements of the real world and the virtual world, allowing users to perform activities such as sitting or a drink, or hold discussions without taking off the headsets.
Vive the controllers have also been improved with better ergonomics, softer edges, more balance, textured buttons and pads to grip for increased comfort. The new two-stage trigger makes the interaction with objects softer, and achieves a haptic feedback response to your actions in the virtual world. The new controllers are interchangeable lithium polymer battery, charged via micro-USB and with a duration of 4 hours. Also are re base stations designed to be more compact, quiet and provide improved tracking.
The new virtual reality system will be the first HTC lives with support for SteamVR. SteamVR created by Valve, it is one of the largest online gaming platforms and software for PC, Linux and Mac.
HTC has made several partnerships with content providers of different types: games, entertainment, health, automotive, retail and local education. Together with 15 partners 2016 presented virtual reality applications during CES.
Live HTC will be available in April 2016, and there have been 7000 units to developers who start shipping in the first months of 2016.
