Dubai Fountain is a system from sources along the Burj Khalifa artificial lake, next to Dubai Mall. It has spectacular choreographies accompanied by music. It is the largest source of the world that dances to the beat of the music. It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains of the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. 6,600 illuminated by colored lights and spotlights with a visual spectrum of over a thousand forms, it can be seen from 50 kilometers away.

It is 275 meters long and outbreaks of water with a height of 150 meters, as a 50-storey tower. The musical accompaniment ranges from the classical to the contemporary, the Arab music world, which makes it the fountain and light show most beautiful sound in the world. It was 180 million euros the cost of its construction.

After a competition organized by Emaar Properties was chosen the name of the sources, whose result was announced on 26 October 2008. The official opening was on May 8, 2009, along with the ceremony of official opening of Dubai Mall, after three month test. Later in 2010, sources increased by 275 meters.

Around the fountain there is a promenade with terraces establishments Dubai Mall where you can dine or just drink while the show is observed.Next to the fountain is Souk Al Bahar, an Arabesque shopping, entertainment and restaurants thattransports the traveler to an ancient Arab city.This impressive show of music, light and water, which is usually put into operation every day at sunset at intervals of about thirty minutes is not lost.
